The F98 BMW X4 M Competition is full fat M Division engineering wrapped in a coupé roof SUV body, proper Motorsport hardware, not a cosmetic M Sport package. Finished in Black Sapphire metallic with the gloss black M Shadowline trim, this is one of the fastest, most focused SUVs we've ever run.
The S58 3.0 litre TwinPower Turbo straight six produces 510 PS and 600 Nm, the same engine, in the same Competition tune, that powers the M3 and M4 Competition. It drives all four wheels through M xDrive with an Active M Differential and the 8 speed M Steptronic, and gets to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds.
The chassis hardware is M Division through and through: bespoke adaptive dampers, M specific kinematics, M Compound brakes with optional carbon ceramics, and an M tuned steering rack. Inside, you get M Carbon bucket seats trimmed in Merino leather, the M Drive Professional package with M Drift Analyser and M Laptimer, and the carbon fibre roof and trim.
If you want SUV practicality with proper M Division aggression, and a soundtrack to match, the X4 M Competition is the answer.
